i know we've all laughed about the worm and the affair but this is a profoundly dangerous person who should be expelled from the government.
Breaking News: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he personally instructed the CDC to abandon its position that vaccines do not cause autism. The move underscores his determination to challenge scientific orthodoxy — in this case, that vaccines save lives — and bend the health department to his will.
RFK Jr. Says He Instructed CDC to Change Vaccines and Autism Language on Website
In an interview, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. cited gaps in vaccine safety research. His critics say he is ignoring a larger point: Vaccines save lives.

I just don’t see how we can pretend even for a moment that anything involving our federal government is remotely normal when the president is covering up his involvement in a child sex trafficking ring. Like, what are we doing here

the only thing democrats should be saying today is “the entire republican party is engaged in a coverup of the most notorious child sex trafficking ring in world history”

I am a proud Democrat and nothing has radicalized me more than the pathetic response of our party this past 10 months. Blow it up.
I do think this is a point of radicalization because a lot of angry, angry normal people were ready to dig in and suffer a lot in order to make fascists suffer a little, and their resolution was sold out and made into a mockery

We tried to show them after the last surrender. There's no sense in trying to convince them anymore. Primaries are the only path to a fighting opposition party now.

Some Dems get it.
It's weird that a big tent Democratic party wouldn't include the guy who just handily won the Democratic primary in the city with the most Democratic voters in America. #votersmatter

Slightly more seriously. It's crazy how the entire supposed constitutional theory of Trump 2.0 is that all power is vested in this single individual, down to every last tiny detail and whenever you ask him he's like "I have no idea; ask the lawyers"

At a hundred days into his presidency, Joe Biden had a 52% approval rating.

As we near the hundred days mark in his second term, Donald Trump has a 39% approval rating.

Here's how those numbers were framed by the media:

Let’s be clear. When the President defies the Supreme Court, it is the role of Congress to remove him from office. Full stop.

A reminder to reporters: Because Trump tariff numbers are made-up nonsense, using the phrase “reciprocal tariffs” is lying to your audience. The phrase itself is propaganda. They are not reciprocal.

It’s always this way with these voters — “He saw her as a funny, caring, hard-working woman who came legally, not one of the "illegals" who the president he supported promised to deport.”
He voted for Trump. Now his wife sits in an ICE detention center.
ICE's deportation actions signal that anyone who isn't a US citizen is 'at risk – period,' immigration attorney says.

Schumer’s decision is an unconscionable surrender that shows he does not have what it takes to meet this moment, and the charade he pulled yesterday makes it even worse. Time for new leadership in the Democratic Party.

These were highly-qualified people, not “diversity initiatives.” If you’re still subscribing to the @nytimes.com, don’t.
I wouldn’t think “moved to root out diversity initiatives” is a useful phrase for journalism at all, but using it as a euphemism for a purge of high ranking black officers is downright Orwellian.

My god, he is so bad at this. I want Medicaid to be defended, protected, and strengthened like a pillar of our social contract or a key thread in our safety net. Not loved and cherished like a teddy bear. FFS
The extreme MAGA Republican budget will close hospitals, shut down nursing homes and deprive children of healthcare.

There are 215 Democrats in the House who actually want to love and cherish Medicaid, not destroy it.

We only need three House Republicans to join us.
