The N.Carolina state Senate overrode Gov. Cooper's veto of the bill stripping power from incoming Democrats. It comes down to the House, where 3 Republicans from the western part of the state voted against the original bill because of its fake promise of hurricane relief

This sort of democratic backsliding, where Republicans seek to overturn the effect of an election by reallocating powers away from positions they have lost, has become almost routine now. But it should remain shocking.

This is 1000% true. We have normalized the horrific and moving to the Right to abandon our values is not the way forward.
Remember this. We are weaker now. “Trump has groomed us.” Try to hold and speak and advocate what you know is right and true. We’ve already moved so far. Don’t change your standards to accommodate their shameless incompetence & cruelty.
