Thanksgiving pies! I’m only 3 weeeks late posting them. 😂 My first time making this pumpkin pie recipe and my first time ever making a pecan pie. I was pretty sure I burnt the pecan pie to being inedible, but it was actually good! #baking

The only part of this Chocolate Four-layer Dessert that involves baking is the crust, but I still count it as a recent bake! This is the second attempt…the first attempt has been added to my “baking fails” list when the pudding layer didn’t set up at all… 😂

The day after the election I went searching for *something* to fill the giant hole of dread. Taking in Mt. Rainier from three different spots at three different times reminded me that there is still beauty in the world even when things feel incredibly dark. 💙
