The other day I proposed to my long time girlfriend Olivia, she said yes! It was truly a once in a lifetime experience to do in front of Kilauea, thank you Pele for this moment! #Engagement #volcano #proposal #Kilauea

I’ll gladly take one more great wave day this season before it’s over! Spring is just around the corner though.

Yesterday was all about ❤️, but today it’s about dedication. 💪 In the heart of Vietnam, these skilled women 🧵 mend fishing nets 🎣, weaving lifelines for their communities. A silent symphony of tradition, precision, and resilience 🌊

Almost ready for that spring thaw. Hopefully a few more rounds of snow are in store for the western wa lowlands though! #wawx

This storm had supercell structure and apparent twin waterspouts, here with Mark Stewart and Matthew Pfab editing the photos. I'm still not believing what I saw. Very dark at the time, but did anyone else see this near Seahurst park, South of West Seattle?

One of my favorite images of all time. It’s rare that you get to see the landing point of a lightning strike. Special day, shooting with friends.

We’ve had one of the most boring winters here in the PNW in recent years. I’m ready for spring already!

"Emerge"

Hello there! I thought I'd check out Bluesky and see what it's all about. I'm Kevin, and I have a passion for landscape and nature photography – and eating sushi. Here's one of my favorite photos, made during an unforgettable morning in the backcountry.

A single image of #CometG3ATLAS at sunset tonight from Western Wa! It’s so incredibly small during sunset time. But I bet it’ll be massive and stunning during full dark for the southern hemisphere in a few days. I wish we got more time with it here in the northern hemisphere.

Comet G3 Atlas is still extremely bright after its close passage with the sun and supposedly able to be photographed during daylight. Will be giving it a try later tonight to see if we can capture this beauty!
