UPDATE: A purge of experienced career staff has begun at NIH. The staff was just informed that Deputy Director Lawrence Tabak, who has worked at NIH for 25 years is "retiring."

Grant funding remains frozen, in violation of two federal court orders.

We got her a year and a half ago from a shelter in Houston - she traveled to Colorado with a van full of other pre-adopted cats and dogs. She is such a sweet soul.
