“Sesame Street” and its sequel, “The Electric Company,” were, “with lapses, the most intelligent and important programs in television,” Renata Adler wrote, in 1972.

When public media disappears, so do the stories that bring us together.

With federal funding eliminated, millions may lose their last trusted source of news and connection.

If that matters to you, now’s the time to act. Donate: n.pr/458sOhq

There’s nothing to celebrate. The constitution been suspended, USSC Repub. Justices took bribes including their wives, and there's capitulation is rampant in congress where only a handful of females in the democratic party are fighting back with Bernie, Raskin, Goldmen and a couple of others.

NEW: We sent a letter to Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. raising serious concerns with the proposed creation of a national autism "registry."

Data collection on autistic people could be ripe for abuse, and the government shouldn’t be shutting disabled people out of the conversation.

One of those sentences that tells you who and where we are as a country in 2025: librarians are braver than law firms and CEOs.

The Trump admin is fast-tracking a uranium mine in Utah by slashing the permitting process to 14 days, bypassing environmental review and cutting the public out entirely. Projects like this are supposed to go through NEPA, the law that requires environmental impact assessments and public comment.

In New York, ICE detained a busload of farmworkers that were actively involved in a union drive.

In Washington state, ICE dragged a farmworkers’ rights activist and leader out of his car to detain him.

Be warned: attacking unions is a hallmark of fascism.

Musk’s staffers are now forcing federal employees at several agencies including the FAA to sign non-disclosure agreements. The goal is simple: silence the resistance through more threats and now, forced agreements. Maybe we’re not supposed to be talking about being forced to sign NDAs… oops, lol.

The thing about peaceful protest is, the idea is a trap

At no point can you be virtuous enough for the opposition

To them, the very act of protest is violence

Even if you do not act violently, they will say your words are violent. Your thoughts are violent. Your presence is violence.
