I presented my research from my Masters dissertation last week! The Newbury District Field Club were very kind, and asked me lots of great questions about interwar council housing in Newbury. Onwards and upwards now as I expend the topic into my DPhil... #skystorians #interwar #20s30s #housing

Really interesting piece - I had no idea about this change to policy, or the rush on Right To Buy right now. Some interesting comments too, about the security of buying their homes as people get older... but no doubt this will benefit private landlords more than anyone else...
