"Even the American workers who are lamenting the loss of a certain type of courtesy may not be fully reckoning with the brute reality of what that loss has revealed: They never had much power in the first place."

Correct.

The offspring of wealth and privilege, my e-friends. He is talking to himself, actually. He just happens to serve his word vomit to whomever is willing to read it.
Will someone please give this desperate fool a hug? He clearly must have been neglected or abused as a child. I'm willing to take one for the team if it means he'll get sime desperately needed therapy.

I think it’s also true that loneliness among women has historically been treated as an individual problem, while loneliness among men is treated as a societal problem. That, in turn, comes from an assumption that women are supposed to earn the company of others while men are entitled to it.
men’s loneliness gets “more airtime”?

baby I have lived the past three decades of my life witnessing corporate media elevate men’s loneliness into a full-blown balls-to-the-wall CRISIS once every 4-5 years

“more airtime” is hilarious

Clearly, there are weaselly political calculations going on.
Just heard Fetterman has written a letter urging a pardon for Netanyahu.

WTF is wrong with that guy? Are all leaders supposed to be able to commit crimes with impunity now?

And David scores!
This was the moment that’s the turning point away from a post Watergate accountable presidency to Republicans knowing that if they controlled the courts, they could do anything and there would be no consequences.

But we had two chances to fix it.

Holy Christ in the manger! Anyone who physically commits murder for their country faces this. And the bastards in the administration causing this will never lose a wink of sleep.

Isn't is just crazy how all of the awfulness and evil shit that the New York Times "guest writers" warned us about if Tronald Dump were re-elected is becoming true? So weird how that works.

Is that really the first question, Pete?

The first question is: Who would vote for a presidential candidate who they knew would do things like this once in office? Suddenly, Indiana is all pissed at TD, but not at their TD-loving neighbors? The logic is fucked up.
Their closing message to Indiana: change your maps to artificially benefit the President's political party or 'roads will not be paved' as punishment.

They are openly saying this.

Who would want to live in a country that works like that?

Wow and I thought he killed a lot of people in the Taken franchise.

Looks like Liam has moved on.
Saddest thing is that Neeson’s late wife Natasha Richardson was a AIDS advocate and AmFAR spokesperson and now he’s palling around w anti-vaxxers and AIDS denialists.
