Look at this video: a *huge* crowd of Vermonters swaying alongside Mohsen right after he was freed, singing "We Shall Overcome"

Signs reading "Hands off our students" & "free speech" are peppered in between large Palestine flags

mRNA is at the forefront of cancer research, as well as vaccines

National Institutes of Health officials have now told scientists to remove all references to mRNA vaccines from their grant applications.

This means that all research in the field will be stopped and abandoned.

A lot of what Trump and the Republican elite are doing at NIH now is illegal. Blatantly illegal. We shouldn’t just wait for the courts: don’t do things that are illegal.

Very important stuff here from the president of the Union of Concerned Scientists, @gretchentg.bsky.social.
🚨The Trump administration has illegally seized power not granted to it by the US Constitution and is actively disregarding the rule of law.

Parents, college students:
Please be aware that NIH wants to interview and hire IRTAs - postbacs, PhD students, and postdocs this year, but we are currently banned from doing so. We may have a gaping hole.
You can and should contact your Senator and House member in your home state.

Why is the federal government blowing over $800K on a huge military plane to deport just 79 immigrants to Guatemala, when a regular flight used to cost us $100K?

It’s all for show! And the truth—they weren’t rapists, murderers, or criminals.
