My half-baked theory is that we live in an age where many tech CEOs get away with scamming the American public as a matter of business, and everyone is enjoying a tech CEO getting embarrassed in public because it's the only way these folks are held accountable.
Look, I understand that you can never really predict what will go viral; and I understand why the story is very funny... but I'm still a little stunned at how hyperviral the Coldplay CEO story is. Kinda wild.

One might have thought that last November, when Missourians voted to enshrine “reproductive freedom" in the state constitution, that would have been the end of the conversation.

Alas, the Missouri Supreme Court doesn’t seem to be inclined to listen. This week, the court halted abortions.
