Started working fully from home in March and still feel guilty about breaking to put washing on etc, so I often end up having less breaks.
I’ve just found out we’re trialing “summer hours”, so I’ll be part-time only for August, & Fridays off.
This genuinely might be the greatest day of my life.

Edinburgh is far too humid for Scotland. I think it only topped 23 degrees today but I got sunburnt, and haven’t stopped sweating.

We’ve got four nests above our cottage doors, all the way along. It’s becoming absolutely devastating, leaving the house to see the fledglings which didn’t make it. I’ve cried far too much in the past 2 days.

Have a gig on Saturday after pretty much 6 months off, so I ran through my songs tonight. I now feel like I can conquer the WORLD. I’ve missed singing sooooo much, I can’t handle leaving it this long again.

Went to the press night of Evita last night. A few things not right in the production, but none of those were Rachel Zegler. Once in a lifetime talent, that woman. Absolutely phenomenal. Get tickets just for her.

I love that my cat feels so safe that she chooses our bed to sleep every night. My side, in particular.
What I don’t love is the fact that, between her and my husband, there’s no room for me.

This is Max. He snuck out in the middle of the night and walked 5 miles to get a breakfast burrito from a store that gave him one once. They hadn't opened yet when he got there, but Max was found the next morning thanks to his GPS collar patiently waiting outside for his well-earned snack. 14/10
