Similar to ghost guns made from parts bought online, 3D-printed ghost guns are becoming a weapon of choice for criminals because they are untraceable and can be made at home without a background check. More must be done to keep these deadly weapons out of the hands of people who intend to do harm.
UPDATE: Police have confirmed that the gun used to kill UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was a ghost gun. Ghost guns are unserialized, untraceable firearms that can be easily assembled from parts either bought without a background check or 3D-printed.
