I don't at all care for James Comey, but when the President demands the DOJ to prosecute his political enemies, and they do so without credible evidence immediately after firing the judge who refused to take up the case due to said lack of evidence, we’ve become an authoritarian state. Not great!

My desire to stay well-informed is at odds with the onslaught of horrific news every hour of every day. It is a soul-crushing moral obligation I feel that I must maintain. I am genuinely doing fine, but optimism is harder to come by each day. We can, and should, be so much better than this. 🙃

Portland isn't "war torn." My guess is the plan is:
1. Label Antifa a terrorist organization (not an organization btw) for justification to send troops.
2. Send troops to cities to intentionally provoke violence.
3. Use the "violence" to crack down harder.
4. Rinse & repeat until we are numb to it.
