Sanders: He now wants to take away CBS’s license because they did a story that criticized him. Oh my word, CBS criticized him! Oh, let’s drive them out of business, how terrible… If you can’t take criticism, get out of the political process. This is a democracy

Something my mind cannot stop thinking about is that in the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Trump admin ADMITTED that he was wrongfully deported and they they still are fighting as hard as they can to not bring an innocent man home because it will make them look bad.

I was told these people were “free speech absolutists”
Seriously? Because we were told they were going to deport violent criminals.

Really feel like I’m losing my mind: government OBVIOUSLY cannot punish an individual law firm for hiring someone it disfavors! It’s ludicrously unconstitutional and I feel like without a day of law school I could argue the case. And yet the best paid lawyers in the country are folding?

"We've been punched in the nose by our very best friend," says Tom Clark, Consul General of Canada in NY, about America's suddenly-hostile policies that's upending Canadian politics. "What's happening in Canada is that there is now just one issue – and that one issue is Donald Trump." #Velshi
‘Punched in the nose’: Trump policies fuel sense of ‘anger,’ ‘betrayal’ in Canada
Canada is going through a period of transition and Canadians feel “galvanized” as it faces an “existential” threat from Donald Trump, says Tom Clark, Canada’s Consul General in New York. Mark Carney was just sworn in as the country’s new Prime Minister and America, its close and long-time ally, has turned hostile under the second Trump administration. Trump is continuing to use tariffs to wage a trade war with Canada and has continued to propose making the country America’s 51st state. Canadians are feeling a “sense of anger and betrayal,” Clark tells Ali Velshi. “We’ve been punched in the nose by our very best friend and we’re trying to figure out why.”
