EVERY SINGLE POLICY that soccer moms are outraged about the current administration perpetrating has been business as usual in prisons, jails, and policing, pretty much forever.

Just cuz you’ve invented something seemingly nifty and shiny (if rotten under the hood), and sunk billions of dollars into it, and keep asserting (w/out much proof) its awesomeness does not mean I am obligated to find it useful in meeting my professional goals or obligations as an educator.

I absolutely want Newsom to keep fighting Trump and lead others in doing so. I absolutely do NOT want to accept him as *the* opposition leader or a 2028 Presidential candidate. He’s awful. I can accept help in this fight from folks I don’t like, but we need better at the top to rebuild.
