Back when I was on medicaid that was the best insurance I've ever been on. No premiums, no copays and no deductibles to worry about, just go to the doctor and get care.

Yes, I do want everyone in America to be on Medicaid.

If you're gonna say the Chabad rabbi deserved it because he was "grooming kids for the IDF" you are not just an antisemitic bigot, but an extremely ignorant one at that.

Learn the first thing about the subjects of your bigotry before opening your mouth so you don't embarrass yourself like that!

You spent two years claiming Jews are genocidal, thieving colonizers with no homeland or history… And then can’t figure out why people are shooting Jews on the streets of America, Europe and Australia?

I would say these are Adams two biggest accomplishments.

The context of all of this is that the Trump Administration has undone a Biden Era rule requiring U.S. airlines to reimburse passengers for lengthy delays, and they want you to talk about airplane dress codes, slippers and snacks instead.

Sean Duffy, the U.S. transportation secretary, has been urging people for the past week to dress and comport themselves better as a way of restoring “civility” to air travel. On Tuesday, he added another item to his list of concerns: the quality of the snacks handed out on commercial flights.

Sean Duffy, who has been promoting greater decorum among air travelers, said he would like to see choices besides salty pretzels and buttery cookies.

Ok BlueSky: what are your favorite history books in terms of sheer page-turning, narrative propulsion? Thinking along the line of Killers of the Flower Moon, etc. Nonfiction chronicles that read like novels or movies.

Biden fought tooth and nail to get literally *trillions* of dollars of improvements to infrastructure for all 50 states, was kicked in the teeth and derided by the GOP for it.

Then, those same GOP members put their names all over the construction signs that went up.

This is how they pay it back.

This is functionally a robbery of New York City and New York State taxpayers, who contribute billions more to the federal government annually than we get back.

Stealing our money, blocking our bus lanes.
NEW: White House announces it's going to pause, and potentially cancel, $11 billion in infrastructure funding (via the Army Corps of Engineers), specifically citing cities, like New York, represented or led by Democrats. More to come.
