Trump is calling for Democrats to be executed for saying the military should obey the law. Imagine if Obama had said this about Republicans. FOX News would be playing it on a 24-hour loop until the end of time. The impeachment proceedings would start immediately. www.cnn.com/2025/11/20/p...

I'm not a fan of how Windows 11 doesn't allow you to increase the height of the taskbar. It feels like my Windows experience is now that much less functional and convenient.

Enshittification: It's a thing.

Absolutely vile.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

As expected, the budget squeaks through on abstentions. The NDP are simply too weak to fight an election right now.

Trump selling the F-35 to Saudi Arabia may be good reason for us to not over-invest in them. I give it about five seconds before the Saudis dissect one and sell its secrets to China.

Democrats really do need to tighten up their messaging. Keep it simple, stupid.

The best part is that the rats feel comfortable enough now to leak this stuff to the media. The Trumperor has no clothes.
I really love this for them

That's devastating for Republicans, if it can be replicated elsewhere. Their hold on institutional power is rooted at ground level, in their control of school boards, town halls and statehouses.

What a bloodbath. The Republicans got absolutely trashed.
Every single county in Virginia shifted Blue.

Not an atypical Trump response. "I didn't lose, it's just rigged against me." No leader in the history of the United States of America, save perhaps the Confederate secessionists, has been so manifestly poisonous to the Union as Trump.
speaks volumes that Trump's response to tonight's resounding defeat is to demand Republicans redouble efforts to rig elections

Overall: In the first test of Trump's record, he and the Republicans got absolutely stomped tonight. Mamdani winning in New York is obviously the headliner, but Republicans got wiped out in every race of note. Just a complete rejection of Trump and Trumpists, from coast to coast.

Politics continue to politic politically. Trump's name isn't on the ballot, therefore the spell doesn't work this time. Normal rules still apply.
These big wins will embolden Dems to take on Trump's lawbreaking and show there's a price for GOP enabling of him. Folks hate to hear this, but normal patterns are asserting themselves: Liberalism isn't dead, Rs are likely to lose in 2026, and Trump is really unpopular, not a magical exception.

The factional grifters will hate this, but the Mamdani-Spanberger-Sherrill axis actually suggests the outlines of a broad, emerging Dem coalition organized around both anti-Trump *and* affordability politics, not a party bitterly divided against itself.

Turns out businesses need certainty and stability if they're going to hire. The same tariffs that are destabilizing the world are also destabilizing the United States. Only the AI bubble is keeping their economy going.

Trump posts crazy stuff like this at times where he feels like he’s not getting enough attention and wants people to start talking about him again. It’s deranged, narcissistic behavior.

A year's reprieve on rare earths is chump change. Trump walked away virtually empty-handed.

What's needed to break Chinese dominance over rare earths is concerted action on behalf of the Western alliance. Countries like Canada and Denmark have huge untapped reserves that could be activated.
Breaking News: President Trump said China would postpone strict new controls on rare earth metals and that he would halve fentanyl-related tariffs.

Again: Hungary needs to be kicked out of the EU and NATO. At this point Orbán is clearly operating as a Russian proxy within the Western alliance. No one should trust him.
