Husband, dad to two kids. Curious, and trying to learn more. Living in Seattle, but still a Canucks fan. Skiing at Baker. Working at MSFT. My opinions are my own.
Boy, if I were Kiefer I wouldnt want to have the uncertainty of UFA hanging over me right now. I'd probably sign at a discount to stay in the city where my kid was born and guarantee that stability. That seems like a good idea. ;)

I thought they set up the Bond identity as not the birth name for Daniel Craig's character in Skyfall.
One throwaway line from M solves this: "Bond is bigger than a single man. Bond could never be just one man."

Ditto-ish. We re-fied to an super low rate 15 year mortgage a few years back, and we will finish paying everything off about 20 years after moving in. 50 years is going to result in people paying more interest than principal for almost four decades.

My wife thought she had never heard the album, so I put it on during a long drive and said "tell me when you don't recognize a track." I think it was Oh Daddy, the 11th track, when she finally hit one she didn't know well.

I have had two reactions to this story for as long as I've been aware of it:
1. It's sad that they are going to kill those ostriches.
2. Those ostriches abso-fucking-lutely need to be killed before shit gets out of control.

Oh god, yes. Being a parent is simultaneously holding the two thoughts: "Why are you so much like me?" and "Why are you so different than me?" and trying to make it make sense.
