Soon to be thorn in the side of any housing association or council that treats tenants like dirt. As soon as I have sorted my own mess, then I'm going full Neo
So I now have to pay a double tax on driving my EV? Pay per mile and also the vat I pay for electric.

I'm looking for a good litigation solicitor, so I can take my former landlord to court for unlawful eviction, disability discrimination, and a lot of other stuff any recommendations are welcome

Day four of sat waiting patiently for an email or phone call from a mediation company that hasn't existed for four years, set up by my Housing association that's been caught out lying and is known for appalling communication. I'm sure it's all legit 😂

This statement by Bromford flagship apart from the issues that are different, is pretty much word for word the same statement made by them a year ago in our case with the housing ombudsman, our case is almost four years old and still ongoing.

@simplicitly.bsky.social today we pick up the keys for the latest decant property, having a look at the email Bromfords solicitor sent this will be our 21st move since 1st march 2024 what an appalling way to treat vulnerable and disabled "customers"
May 3, 2025 at 12:09 PM
Today is the 1st anniversary of the first time and not the last @bromford.bsky.social failure to book any decant accommodation forcing us to live out of our car for the day.

Labour losing Runcorn was avoidable and as much a result of our party’s failures as Reform’s rise.

Now, we need to learn the right lessons, not double down on the same mistakes.

Cutting disability benefits and scrapping the Winter Fuel Allowance made voters abandon us. [1/3]

same wall in my previous pics that's now behind my oven, taken yesterday it was replastered end of 2018, thick mould and yep mould mites. As I cannot move anything from this bromford home now because of this, to my new non bromford home, that's two homes I cannot live in because of bromford

We have picked up the keys to our new home.
Finally having somewhere to call a home after almost 14 months is a massive relief
April 17, 2025 at 11:10 AM
This is the same wall that's in my last post, three years later and the mould is growing back at the bottom and starting to grow back on the actual wall, Bromford used mould prevention paint as well
April 17, 2025 at 8:14 AM
Found this old photo from 2014 of black mould in our kitchen that Bromford just covered with paint and stuck a cabinet on top, 11 years later and they still haven't fixed the cause of the wall pointing losing its waterproofing. Just one of the Many damp and mould reasons why have had to move home

Today is the 5th working day that the housing ombudsman gave Bromford housing to reply to formal complaints made in May 2024 and August 2024
The last time the ombudsman asked them to reply in January they ignored that then eventually sent false information when pressured.

Without PIP, a further 700,000 more disabled households could be pushed into poverty 📢

We've joined Scope to urge the Chancellor to reconsider potential cuts to disability benefits.

The cost of cuts to disability benefits: Our open letter to the Chancellor | Disability charity Scope UK
Right now, the government is considering changes to disability benefits. But for millions of disabled people, these benefits are a lifeline. They are the difference between surviving and being pushed deeper into poverty. Scope, alongside a coalition of charities, has written to the Chancellor, urging the Government to think again. Our full letter is below.

oh right so we've decided it's the fault of the disabled now have we fucking brilliant well done lads
"I’m far from the first to ask this, but – what do they think we elected them for, exactly?" On how I am losing patience with this government's failure to challenge the right.
But what’s it *for*?
This week: come on, Labour, surely you can do better than this. Also: some noteworthy nicknames for Russian monarchs; and a still extant dinosaur.

That must be one of the most Orwellian statements ever. It’s bad enough to cut people’s benefits. To pretend some kind of higher “moral” duty while you’re doing so is insulting and offensive
Ministers have 'moral' duty to cut benefits spending, Labour MPs say
Labour is anxious to reduce the rising welfare bill as it plans boosting defence spending at a time when the Chancellor is perilously short of extra cash

EVERYONE who has had to deal with the benefits system knows that every single person who says there are overpayments and inefficiencies is a lying piece of shit.
I can’t put into words how egregious it is how over the weekend Starmer big balls was pledging more money for Ukraine, and then this week we have Labour MPs going onto Peston’s show to justify cuts to benefits because of inefficiencies

Are @sheltercharity.bsky.social aware housing associations and councils refuse to rent new builds to the disabled for fear of any adaptations causing issues with the warranty? And yet they advertise these properties as band A giving false hope to anyone disabled that they can bid and win
March 1, 2025 at 3:06 PM
Are @disrightsuk.bsky.social aware that a large proportion of housing associations and councils refuse to rent new build homes to the disabled, they do not allow adaptions in the first 12 months They place these homes in band A but then refuse rent to the disabled when they come top of the bid.
