Soon to be thorn in the side of any housing association or council that treats tenants like dirt. As soon as I have sorted my own mess, then I'm going full Neo
Fuel duty equivalent on electric cars?
What VAT on electricity then? Paid for in every home or public charger or will those of us that chose EVs now have to pay a double tax

Reeves showing again she has no clue how hard it is just to survive being disabled, she is doing the bidding of daily mail readers, and that paper pays no UK tax.
What government car is she assigned that's paid for by the tax payer?
Oh and the drivers and police escort
November 2, 2025 at 8:10 PM
Petrol pump attendants, tyre manufacturers, self employed electric charging installers, and any other businesses that relies on car sales.
Just look at jaguar (not on the scheme) and the billions the government had to pike in because they had been hacked and many small businesses ran out of money.

Taking manufacturers off the scheme won't stop or lower any costs, if anything it will jeopardize the employment of many UK tax payers, from sales people, to service technicians to the valets that wash the cars in the dealerships, or the transport hgv drivers or dock workers kwick fit workers

More in tax is paid by disabled people working, than the entire cost of the pip benefit system. the disabled community funds it themselves. So how about stop punching disabled people and just tax the super rich more
November 2, 2025 at 7:56 PM
Benefits claimants?
you mean the most vulnerable people in the country on the lowest benefits.
It's a choice by people that have gone through the utter humiliation of getting the higher element of PIP to then spend their money on transport. Nothing to do with what manufacturers are on the scheme

Wait an employee in a position to affect the life and death of tenants and decide to act unlawfully, and when an official complaint is raised it's buried by the top brass? Arnold Tarling is correct it is an industry wide issue not just clarion

You wouldn't believe it 10mins after this, and I get the call from the mediator
October 6, 2025 at 4:52 PM
around 5th October they will apply to court to get my tenancy back, they know full well our defence is airtight and more importantly that their actions are illegal, the law is on our side. They are trying to bully and harass us by "us giving back" our tenancy, no we will happily see you in court
September 19, 2025 at 1:21 PM
I don't like bullies, and when in court I prove illegal eviction I will make sure criminal convictions are given to every single bromford employee and every single member of the board who allowed it to happen
September 19, 2025 at 1:04 PM
In our case it looks like the bullying tactics of bromford will only result in us taking Robert and bromford to court, they simply have no legal legs to stand on, and have taken no legal steps when they forced us out of our much needed adapted home, it's criminal what Robert has done.
September 19, 2025 at 1:01 PM
The staff and more importantly Robert Nettelton don't care about their tenants.
Nothing will ever change until either the ombudsman massively fines them and I'm talking six figure numbers, or eventually the regulator steps in and sacks the board.

I'm sure there is some sort of irony, that the British bar they choose to use is in Bristol UK.
A quick Google will show you exactly what proud Bristolians think of fascists, rapists homophobic and racist people of power, we simply throw them in the river.

He was on BBC news saying that in the councils they now control, anyone employed by DEI needs to start looking for a job immediately.
Yet he wants to force disabled into work? So what does he want? sack or hire? He has and never will make sense
May 5, 2025 at 10:32 AM
Peabody you say.
someone I know used to work for them, it's ok because they got out and now have a new big ol' job with bromford flagship as a director.
So I'm sure that the very same director wouldn't just ignore tenants or even actively try and bury complaints, that would be a massive coincidence
