Parents who choose not to vaccinate often do so for 2 reasons, both wrong:

1. They think measles is harmless.

2. They think the vaccine is harmful.

Measles can be deadly & cause long term disability. Kids are at highest risk. MMR vaccines are safe & prevent measles.
1. #CDC was finally allowed to issue a statement on the Texas #measles outbreak, though it wasn't sent to the press distribution list or posted on its homepage. They tweeted it in the other place at 8:29 pm EST.
