It’s ok to be scared. However, being scared isn’t enough to stop you from taking action. It assumes that other ppl doing things aren’t scared as well. If you’re a US citizen(esp white ppl) then you must make some sacrifice. Ppl will be brave if they see others being brave. Take the moment seriously.

Few things piss me off like systems that are "loudest gets helped first" like the math center here at school. No way to ensure they help people in the order they arrive, it's just whoever is the most willing to interrupt the tutors and repeatedly bother them for help so they don't forget you exist
