But I shouldn't have to rely on the kindness of a drug company and you shouldn't have to worry about surprise bills just to stay healthy and take care of a medical emergency. Our system is so broken, and no one wants to fix it.

She is a citizen. They let her go. AFTER THEY TOTALED HER CAR AND RIPPED HER VIOLENTLY INTO CUSTODY.
The situation is alarming. Consider your own family in this scenario. A woman, on her way to work, was gunpoint-attacked, dragged, and assaulted. Reflect on the impact and responses. Society needs empathy and understanding for progress.
