Today's abysmal jobs report is a reminder that tax cuts for corporations and the rich don’t create jobs or grow the economy.

What's required is investment in working people — and better wages.

When workers have money to spend, the economy grows and businesses create more jobs.

Remember this.

Every single Canadian NEEDS to watch this because this is important info that EVERY VOTER needs to understand!
He’s right, the things the Federal govt does is make investments for Canada, sets up the law of the land, ensures regulations are followed and hands out money to the Provinces, there is more but, the Provincial Premiers control what is going on in each Province.

Cool. I wonder if it's any less corrosive. We should do this for the birds-- but (and I hate that this is true) it'd be an easier sell in Ontario if it's less damaging to cars.

I am a Pagan and I lead more of a Christ like life than many so-called Christians. These are not followers of Christ. These are worshippers of self and Mammon. They seek to persecute those who are different than them. They disobey the teachings of Christ and pervert it with intolerance and lies.

Look south friends, see how fast democracy can unravel.

Fascism doesn’t arrive all at once, it creeps in through division and fear. It is emboldened when the left is too fractured to fight back.

If we don’t show solidarity, we risk the same fate.

Canada must unite the left, or risk falling.

Canadians, do not want to do that job for min wage.
Haitians, can and do. Because once you factor the exchange rate of their countries currency. They're making a good earning for their families.

Housing starts in Canada from January to July 2025, compared to the same time in 2024:
SK: +50%
QB: +38%
NL: +29%
AB: +25%
NB: +20%
NS: +16%
MB: +3%
PEI: 0%
BC: -4%
Then there’s Ontario.
ON: -25% ⬇️📉
Housing is unaffordable because Doug Ford has failed.

The clearest picture of corporate greed in this country is CEO-to-worker pay ratios.

At the 100 lowest-paying major US companies, CEO pay averaged $17.2M in 2024.

Median worker pay at these companies was just $35,570.

That’s a ratio of 632 to 1.

How can anyone defend this?

These are the facts and if you don’t believe it, look it up, all true, I posted a long thread about this when I was on the bad place #Canada

Not one Social program came from Conservatives, but they have tried to destroy them.
All those things you enjoy ~ free healthcare, maternity leave, EI, Workers Comp, labour laws, 40 hr work week, child labour restrictions,
Equity, harassment laws, reproductive rights, safety regulations, disability benefits, CPP, OAS ~ all of it came from progressive policies, workers and govt.
