Today, let's try and make an ornate 3D paper cube.

Next, we'll attempt a LeMarchand's box of infernal delights. Oh, we have such sights to show you.. 😉🤣

In the Toronto Star I wrote about plazaPOPS, turning the great GTA stripmalls into more welcoming people places, letting already-flourishing small enterprise & culture expand. This Friday there's also a dhaba (night market) in Wexford Scarborough.

Shawn Micallef: Toronto-area strip malls are foodie havens. Here’s how this project is helping them become places for people, not just cars
Seeing how strip malls have evolved into vibrant, walkable places on their own has been fascinating, writes Shawn Micallef. Now the plazaPops project is helping them adapt more formally.

What a Sunday night in Ōtepoti #Dunedin, NewZealand

After steady rain all day, it cleared up (to 3°C), so at midnight I went for a walk with my #Nikon #Z7ii camera & tripod around Muaūpoko Otago Peninsula.

During Aug-Oct the Milky Way is getting very low in the western sky.

Well, the weather’s not quite playing ball, but #RecipeOfTheDay is Watermelon, Feta and Mint Salad! Yes, there are other ingredients, too, but these are the three that matter, and sometimes I do indeed leave out the parsley, onion and olives, for simple ease www.nigella.com/recipes/wate...
Watermelon, Feta and Black Olive Salad
As improbable as it might sound, this combination is utterly fantastic, both savoury and refreshing at the same time. You can pare it down to the essential contrast, and serve no more than a plate of ...

We have the stunning Short-Eared Owl for this episode of #AnOwlADay. You can find this bird on every continent apart from Antarctica and Australia. It's one of the easier ones to spot, as it hunts in daylight over open land. It's the size of a pigeon, but has a 1 metre wingspan!
