“In 2025, it’s completely unacceptable anyone is restricting their laundry to once a month, limiting amount they wash or not flushing the toilet, all in order to afford their water bills. Yet for many older people on low incomes this is reality they face every day”

Essential reading.
In Invisible Rulers, I use the term “bespoke realities” to describe this. A self-determined reality formed from readily-available info via algo curation or via fellow members of the crowd who help you discover identity-based truth. Everything else can be dismissed. Propaganda, not “misinformation”.
But what's most interesting/disturbing is the longer term effect. Once the MAGA coalition settled on their narrative, they effectively closed their own history books. Any attempt to hold those responsible accountable for 1/6 was dubbed a witch hunt or proof of Dems being 'obssessed' or 'deranged'
