My subscription is canceled. I'd kept it because the work of the journalists there has long been top notch, and I am loosely acquainted with a staffer. I believe in supporting the hard work journalists do, and Bezos left them alone mostly. But I canceled NYT for the opinions they platformed, too.

It would be fantastic if major federal institutions would acknowledge that the executive branch cannot legally unilaterally cancel or redistribute congressionally appropriated funding on ideological grounds and thus they have no legal obligation to comply with such directives
