IT at the uni where A teaches just sent out a message saying “we’re proud to invite macOS users to upgrade to Sequoia.”

Sequoia! It wasn’t a typo, either!

If I were finally letting users upgrade to an OS over a year old, I would not be “proud.”

I feel like when we renegotiate our Microsoft contract we should include “Teams will recognize our name as a valid word” as a term.

They should also have to explain what “Northeaster n’s” means

A funny thing about Foreign Affairs is if you click the “download as PDF” button the website says “sorry, this is for subscribers only” … but obviously you can export any webpage as a PDF in a modern web browser, so 🤷‍♂️

We don’t take candid, non-sports videos of human family members, but if we did: This morning on walkies with the dogs, A was shaking her head and laughing at a car, muttering repeatedly to herself “this mf honking at *geese*!”

No big deal, just a former referee confused about the VAR protocols. (‘Clear and obvious error’ doesn’t come into it with offside, and all goals are checked for offside anyway—the process he described is completely at odds with reality.)

No, menopause does not kill women or cause divorce.
