Two systems intended to kill poor people, denying them Healthcare and giving them guns so they can kill each other interacted and an unintended rich person was killed and that was terrible.
The 300,000 a year preventable medical deaths, and 90,000 firearms ones, of course aren't.

In the late 90s & early 2000s we in the UK received (very roughly) 80,000 asylum applications per year.
Mainly people escaping Balkan wars.
Today in these “unprecedented” times of “invasion” by small boat… we receive pretty much the exact same numbers.
