UPDATE! Went back the other night and there's now a little diorama of the bar behind the bar and there's a tiny little version of my license plate on it! The diorama even has its own diorama but, sadly, no license plate.

Downtown for the Peter Hook show and remembered my ear plugs and distance glasses like a proper geezer.

A few of my coozies. Thining them out but keeping all of these. Sorted by Indie Rock, Classic Rock/Country, Jam Bands, and Bars/Places. If there’s a coozie, I’m probably buying it.

In honor of the Grateful Dead’s historic show in Buffalo on 5/9/77, I gifted one of my license plates to local Deadhead favorite pizzeria, Candyman Pizza. They immediately hung it up over the bar!

I'm so glad the Wayback Machine has a copy of this. I let the old domain die a few years back and honestly worried that it was gone. Thanks for Claudio for sharing! There will never be audio of this show (one of very few) but I'm hoping a roll of film shows up some day.

Stoners, let me improve your weekend: Someone uploaded their personal VHS recording of SIX HOURS of MTV's 1994 Beavis & Butt-head Moron-athon on @archive.org with commercials, Liquid TV & misc MTV shows: archive.org/details/beav...

I just quickly scanned it & found this hilariously dorky DOOM 2 ad:

Glad to see Mike Scott over here.
I loved the concept of the Plastic Ono Band - John & Yoko + whoever was around. First P.O.B. to play a gig was J&Y + Alan White (drums, he played the amazing parts on Instant Karma), Klaus Voorman (bass, old Hamburg pal, had just left Manfred Mann) + E Clapton. Gig was Toronto, rehearsal on plane.

Got myself a Lossless Legs account and am now seeding a torrent for probably the first time in 20 years. This is really an incredible find all these years later. And somehow there's an 8 track in the transfer chain. Fun stuff.
wow, allegedly a new never-circulated 1966 grateful dead show, from november 18th at the fillmore auditorium, transferred from an 8-track(!?), psyched to check this out. shnflac.net/index.php?pa...

I've watched this video a hundred times over the years. There's so much going on in a short amount of time. They way Keef sees the guy coming, winds up for a swing, straps it back on and keeps on playing. Even Mick just keeps going. They're legends for a reason.

Up this week for #TicketStubWed is the Tragically Hip at the Horizontal Boogie Bar in Rochester, NY on August 4, 1994. It was hot in there. At one point, someone threw a cigarette on stage and Gord looked around for a lighter so I tossed him mine. Lit it and tossed it back.
