New: CBO estimates a three-year extension of enhanced ACA premium tax credits would ultimately reduce the number of people uninsured by 4 million. It would cost the federal government $80.6 billion, which would come from reducing health insurance costs for enrollees.

I just got a call from my rheumatologist. Because of the changes to Medicaid, which no longer reimburses telemedicine appointments, I can either pay out of pocket or drive two hours away every three months, which is not possible for me most of the year due to my work schedule.

The larger-than-usual downward revision last month was in large part driven by a negative skew in the job growth distribution among late reporting firms. That’s unusual, but it’s happened before when the pace of job growth slows rapidly. This print is more evidence that was the case
