this movie has done such beautiful things to the minds of my co-workers
Wicked: For Good’s rendition of the song “As Long as You’re Mine” is less horny than the Broadway version. It also puts Elphaba in a bulky, itchy-looking, ragged greige cardigan as she sings it. We have questions.

I chatted with Josh Sharp about his new one-man show ‘ta-da!’ I’m pretty suspicious of the mostly-bad genre, but I think he’s a legit genius.

The comedian is trying to turn Ta-da! into a “stunty, cunty production.”

A lovely interview by @jasonspank.bsky.social:
Jeff Hiller had given up hope that he would get an Emmy nomination for ‘Somebody Somewhere’: ‘“Both my manager and my publicist wept. That’s how shocked they were. Jeremy Allen White’s team didn’t do that.”

Desperate to meet the gay child who needs this from them, specifically (not sarcastic)
Elton John & Brandi Carlile describe their new rock ‘n’ roll song, “Swing For The Fences” in recent interview:

“…It’s kinda just this anthem of encouragement for young LGBTQ people, and honestly for anyone, that feels something is limiting them…”

Something fun is when closeted celebrities get profiles with headlines like “_____ Comes Out into the Spotlight” in which they do not, in fact, come out

Me, trying to fit in with gay guys who are mad about Demi Moore losing: So, uh, that Madonna song “Dear Jessie” really stinks, huh?

I am very happy that Mikey Madison won. I felt that her performance was star making and could not be played to the same effect by other people, and I don’t think that is true of the other actress’s performance.

Tate McRae’s music sounds like it is covered in a layer of mud. It is music for hanging out in the bog.

Even having read the books and profiles, this is a chapter in SNL history that I knew very little about, and it’s a great and thoughtful interview.
‘Years later, who’s going to remember the sketches you’re in? But they’ll remember that you said ‘I’m gay’ when it was a time when you weren’t supposed to say that ever. And nobody had ever said it before without shame.’

My favorite part of working at Vulture is that when I say “the person we need to get on the record for SNL 50 is Terry Sweeney,” @megh.bsky.social says “you have 5000 words”
