This is just to say

I have eaten all
the tuna macaroni salad
from the big blue bowl
in the fridge

And you know what?
I'm fine with that
I made it for myself
and wasn't planning on sharing it anyway

Mark Gruenwald was behind many of my favorite stories. While I respect "Squadron Supreme" as his magnum opus, his "Captain America" is something special.

But my nerd heart belongs to "D.P. 7."
Alright, it's finally time. This is something I've had in the pipeline for _years_ but was shying away from due to the sheer amount of research and notes necessary.

But with the current state of affairs in the world, this is the moment

Folks, it's time we talk about Mark Gruenwald

“Opus Four Three” in Denver Quarterly
"Opus Four Three" is another political poem; I don't know if readers at journals are more interested in political poems lately or if I'm giving deeper attention to the state of things, but one of my other most-recent publications was also political. And a current draft piece is also political. "Opus Four Three" approaches the politics from what I hope is an obvious place of playfulness, but playfulness used to conceal real concern and some measure of bitterness toward the people who make choices that hurt people.
