It doesn't matter whether conservative ideals and policies are good or bad, popular or unpopular, if they are imposed on Americans unlawfully and arbitrarily. A free society is ruled by law.

Given Trump’s lawlessness, we no longer have a legitimate government.

ICE attacked US citizen Andrea Velez, slamming her to the ground

No probable cause, no warrant and-while they claim no racial profiling-it seems clear why they did it

Then they arrested her to cover it up

Throwing her in a cell without even a glass of water

Unsurprisingly she's not the only one

In authoritarian crackdowns, it’s important to randomly ensnare some people whom one would think would be safe, so that everyone is at least a little bit afraid that something could happen to them. The regime scales up its power of intimidation over a much larger group than those directly affected.

Casar: "Donald Trump is the most corrupt president in American history. Ken Paxton is the most corrupt politician in Texas history. And the two of them are working together on the most corrupt scheme I've ever seen. What they're trying to do is insulate Trump from any accountability for his crimes."

Shortly after meeting with Trump’s former personal attorney, and current # 2at the DOJ, she gets moved to a plush prison “camp.” Coinkydink? Methinks not. Methinks it’s a sneakyass way to buy her silence, in not spilling her guts about DJT. That’s what methinks.

who told us about her? her VICTIMS, you disingenuous hack.

it takes a lot to gast my flabbers these days but even i can’t believe they’re seriously gonna try this revisionist history shit about a woman who aided and abetted in the rape of children.
Newsmax's Greg Kelly on Ghislaine Maxwell: "There's something else going on here. It's an injustice ... people are horrified when I say that this individual just might be innocent. But think about it. Who told us about her? The most reviled institutions in America. The media and the Biden DOJ."

The men carrying out Musk's coup are Akash Bobba, Edward Coristine, Luke Farritor, Gautier Cole Killian, Gavin Kliger, and Ethan Shaotran.

Make them famous. And, eventually, when possible, arrest them and charge them with multiple felonies. www.wired.com/story/elon-m...

Correct. A crisis in which the actual elected president affirmatively seeks to dispense with the Constitution and laws he swore to preserve, protect, and defend, and has ceded control of critical executive functions to an unsupervised and unelected oligarch who has become his master.

The constitution quite clearly gives Congress the power of the purse, a power the Executive branch is pretending it now has.

Hey, America! Tired of voting? The GOP's SAVE Act is for you.

In an eye-opening new CAP report, @gbedekovics.bsky.social & @sydkneeb.bsky.social show how the bill would disenfranchise millions of Americans. Hit hardest would be 69 million (largely Republican!) women who took their spouses' names.
The SAVE Act Would Disenfranchise Millions of Citizens
The SAVE Act would require all Americans to prove their citizenship with documentation unavailable to millions and upend the way every American citizen registers to vote.

“Is this something that has authorization and approval from the White House and specifically the president? Or is this Musk going rogue within the federal bureaucracy? He has no possible need for access to those systems.”

National security lawyer @bradmossesq.bsky.social, quoted in this piece:
The awful news that Elon Musk clashed with a top Treasury official in an effort to access govt payment systems raises a crucial question: Did Trump authorize this, or not?

I talked to former officials who explain why this is a key question, and why it's so alarming:

Did Musk’s alleged effort to access the government’s payment systems have Trump’s blessing? Or was he going rogue? Either scenario is bad, but one’s a little worse.
