Tomorrow our January article comes out, and it's a big one! @scenicrailway.bsky.social goes *deep* on early Blake's 7 fandom and its very complicated fan/creator dynamics.

To get ready, check out this new oral history from some on the creator-side about the show itself!
‘When Star Wars came out, one of our directors was close to tears’: how we made Blake’s 7
‘I thought I’d be rushing around doing stunts. But instead, it was all about my tight, sexy outfits. After three episodes, I was thinking, “I hate this big hair!”’

PREACH. Fight back against those who tell us success can only happen if you wake up at 5am.
Night. It’s night. The daywalkers have successfully bent all of society to their habits but in these magical hours we refuse to acknowledge that “morning” starts before 11am.

Whole thread is worth reading but definitely please sign the petition. Wouldn’t it be great if a big social media platform made the right decision?
There's a *lot* more I could say but this is already a long thread. So I'll just end with, here's a petition:

www.change.org/p/bluesky-mu...

If you're cis and can tank Having Your Name On A List, it would be great if this petition just kept growing even as Bluesky tries to make all this go away.

Can someone let me know when Bluesky implement the option to mute reposts from individuals, rather than muting all reposts? Until that happens, I don't see myself spending time here.
