Also, it may be pre-Christian, and therefore beneath Kemi's notice, but the Athenaion Politeia says classical Athens had disability benefit.

I once accompanied a friend to a dinner party where, at the end, the hosts thanked me for playing with their small children. I managed to refrain from explaining that I was acting in my own interests as I thought the children were the most interesting people in the room.

I have had at least half a dozen strangers come up to me to say how much they like the hat. One young person said "it's almost as if it had ears" so I had to explain the history of the pussyhat.

I'm with you on the Fourth Doctor. And the Tenth was the least interesting of the reboot. (The Fourteenth was an improvement, however.)

I always thought it would have been much better if they had cut the Doctor and companions out of it. They were an unnecessary distraction from the plot.
