I have read high hopes for this place, this sounds great
ya I said this the other day, it's accessibility then vibe control tools. make sure ppl can use and then make sure that the experience stays good as more folks come on in

Mastodon just announced that new users will be offered a default server that they can then change if they wish. I think this will go a long way with helping alleviate some of the onboarding friction.

I'm muting anyone who tries this nonsense. Just seen a guy say Nazis are better to talk to than journalists. Don't let those freaks ruin this all too!
Bluesky should be the place free of posting monetisation. No deliberately spicy takes for reskeets, no engagement bait, no subscriptions, no video element and desperate attempts to go viral. Just totally honest posting, like old school SM / Forums. Kind of feels like that now but I'm a cynic

There have been 5 (?) Social networks pop up / gain prominence since Elon's antics. We haven't seen anything like that since 2005 when Fiverr, Xuqa, FB etc were all battling it out. Some legit innovation in the social media space! Who would've guessed.
