Microsoft is now warning investors about the pushback against its massive data centers.

The tech giant's latest earnings reports says: “We also face community opposition, local moratoriums and hyper-local dissent that may impede or delay infrastructure development."

We are sleepwalking into one of the greatest social and economic transformations in history. There's plenty of room for a political party to come out and say, hold up a second.

There’s widespread anger at the AI industry—and last week’s elections showed that it’s a winning issue.

I've been a member of the @sierraclub.org since I was 16 years old, and have been their lawyer in more cases than I can count. No organization is perfect, and they've had a bumpy few years for sure. But anyone who read the NYT hit piece from this weekend should hear their side of the story.

I know many of you are reeling right now, inundated with questions from friends and supporters who read the New York Times article. Some find the article to be a vindication, a wake-up call, or a lear...

We’ve now taken the lead by 91 votes! 🤯 This thing is certainly not over! Over 1,000 ballots have been challenged, so if you haven’t tracked your ballot yet get on it! Our trusty volunteers have been working hard to "cure" ballots so they count! We're so close!

No one needs to participate in this shameful venture. Don't buy his cars, stay away from his fascist AI, and hell no to house robots.

Everyone involved in this should feel profoundly ashamed.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk scored a resounding victory on Thursday as shareholders approved a pay package of as much as $878 billion over the next decade, endorsing his vision of morphing the EV maker into an AI and robotics juggernaut.

Companies you interact with and give your money to - Apple, Amazon, Meta, Google, etc - are actively working in cahoots with a fascist authoritarian administration and I wonder if we should let them know that we're paying attention.

Read the dissent. The majority decision is not "merely absurd" - its dangerous.
Don't often see this kind of heat in dissents.

This is a solid retrospective on the epic fight to keep the Pacific Northwest from becoming a global coal export hub. We won through relentless organizing, brilliant political strategy, and focused legal work. Glad its getting some attention.

Washington turned back coal, maybe for good
A coal terminal, proposed for Longview, failed. Underplaying how much coal would really be exported to the terminal was the plan's proponents' first mistake.

Trump is working overtime to cut the "people" out of the "people's environmental law"--NEPA. Their latest step was to unilaterally revoke regulations across every agency that implement this important law. The result will be chaos and environmental harm.

We're fighting back - read more here:

"Over a dozen different sets of procedures and processes with little meaningful input from impacted communities will only result in more pollution, dirtier air, and contaminated water for all of us.”

Today we went to court to overturn the administration's reckless and illegal freeze of funding for electric vehicle chargers. Congress passed this funding in a bipartisan bill - Trump has no authority to refuse to distribute it.

Today the Admin filed 4 cases attacking state climate policies and initiatives - in Hawaii, Vermont, NY, and Michigan. West coast states likely next.

Outrageous and abusive litigation. The HI and MI cases challenge the states' *intention* to bring lawsuits against oil companies for climate harm.

Trump Admin continues its effort to gut the nation's keystone environmental law, NEPA, by revoking the rules that govern its implementation.

Its a recipe for chaos and confusion. Tossing out the rulebook isn't going to get projects permitted faster.

Drew Ensign's statement that "if Abrego shows up at a port of entry we will facilitate his entry" is beyond shameful. It is sanctionable misconduct.

We are a self-regulating profession. We get to determine who has a license to practice law. It is past time to hold DOJ lawyers accountable.

Kidnapping.

Capturing a person against their will without due process is called kidnapping.

Transporting them to another country without due process is called human trafficking.

A squalid extrajudicial prison for people found guilty of no crime is called a concentration camp.
stop calling things deportation just because they call it deportation.

-You cannot legally deport people without due process.

-You cannot legally deport citizens.

-They are defining down deportation to break the law.
