Ideally I would do both of course. It would be cool for example if there was a way to add a simple point light to the scene to cheaply illuminate non-LV avatars (and which would also be controllable), but which could be ignored by LV-shaders. Sadly that's not a thing as far as I know.

I wonder if Graphite might be perfect for this? github.com/GraphiteEdit...

It's an image editor that also has a node-based workflow for generative design. I've never used it myself though, so I can't give a personal recommendation.

Yea, the search function built into your file manager and/or a file tagging system like Apple has in Finder. I understood your post to mean that this would be a better system compared to folder, but I really don't see how, considering we already have this and it's not better.

Maybe this helps?

Hi #VRChat ! Just recently had people that were curious about my workflow for avatar optimization and figured it was the best time to share it. Keep in mind, this is *my* workflow and that doesn't mean it's the best, but this really works for me!

Here's a thread! 🧵

You can already do this, just have one folder called "Stuff", put everything in there and then use search or tags to filter.

Problem is that it sucks. A lot of information is hierarchical in nature and sorting them into folders is a very good abstraction.

I'm gonna become a regular buyer of physical music anytime soon :D

streaming service can take away.

On the other hand, the experience was very frustrating. Of the total money I spent, less than one third was actually for the CD, the rest was shipping and import duties. And the CD label is also not even printed properly lol.

So yea, I don't think [..]

Oh shit, that's a feature? Sounds like I need to look how that works ASAP

I don't think dd can write into a folder like that. You need to give it a file-like thing to write data into.

That bone looked interestingly placed on first glance :D

Also, sometimes people let their dogs shit on the sidewalk and that shit then gets covered in leaves as a nice little trap for people just walking where they need to go.

If leaves on the floor get wet, they're almost as slippery as ice, so I prefer not walking or cycling on leaves ngl. I almost crashed my bicycle while going over wet leaves several times in the past, and let me tell you, it's not fun :D

Wdym mostly history, lol :D Plastic straws are still banned in the EU afaik and you get paper straws (or other alternatives) absolutely everywhere here. I guess in the US plastic straws were only banned on a state-by-state basis or something?

sounds pretty accurate :/

Haha I'm obviously biased here, but I think that Drinking Night is a pretty good representation of my VRC experience. Not necessarily because I'm in that world a lot these days, but because it's a very good and well-known stand-in for drinking worlds or social hangouts in general.
