Holy crap, part 1 was very trivial but part 2 was really really hard for me. Had to get out the pen and paper for this one, but in the end I beat the damn graphs :D

Part 1 was easy to brute force but part 2 gave me a reason to pull out the LP solver again. All in all a fun day!

Not proud about my super inefficient part 2, but at least it found the correct answer after like a minute :D

Sadly I failed on part 2 and looked up what the correct answer was before fixing my code :/ I just missed a stupid edge-case and after knowing I was off by 8 (??), I could fix it and then got the right answer.

Part 1 was trivial but part 2 was pretty tricky already. Took three attempts at an algorithm that even worked at all and then one wrong submission before I fixed the last bug.

Every time someone compliments me, it's either for something I just randomly stumbled into without real effort or it's something I've been doing for such a long time that it'd be surprising if I wasn't good at that thing.
How does anyone square this?
