I have given up on Facebook. I am not interested in putting any more money into Mark Z's pocket. The final nail in the coffin was when a good friend (who is religious, but never political) made a post praising our new authoritarian leader. I'm done.

I'm so old, I remember when Republicans used to hyperventilate about a menacing federal government consisting of "jackbooted thugs." It turns out it wasn't a principled hatred of "jackbooted thugs" they were expressing, it was just jealousy that THEY weren't the ones in the jackboots.

I would suggest actively boycotting the companies who are the biggest advertisers on X. Elon has a big debt held by several big banks that he is paying 11% on. If he loses advertisers the banks will get the jitters. Rich people need credit to get richer. Stop buying from these and write to their CEO

I had taken an interest in the 50 states, 50 capitals Rally scheduled for 2/5. BUT,I am now reading material by Red, Wine and Blue saying it is somewhat suspect. No organizers are listed and no permits drawn. Now I believe it may be a trap. Please do your research and know the organizers. Not going
