I remember at the time thinking that I wasn't aware that sex trafficking was such a dangerous proposition, with powerful people behind it. The three books were completed by 2005. Could he have been aware of Epstein's antics then?

BTW, note that Brunel had gone into hiding after Epstein's arrest, which led French police to look into his participation. He eluded arrest until late 2020 but hanged himself in his cell before trial. Were both snuffed out, as too risky to be tried in open court? Seems suspicious.

I know you have to ask these questions, but what's clear to any thinking person is that that visit and interview was nothing more than a set-up to defuse suspicion of Trump and ensure Ghislaine would keep her mouth shut. We all knew that. You can't believe a word that Blanche reported.

She'd lobbied to oversee trading of mortgage-backed securities, which went on to cause the crash of 2008 and the Great Recession.

There's a lot of "stuff" in every bill passed in Congress. It's enlightening to actually read through the verbiage. Any matter of substance has a long list of "free-loaders" attached by the time it's signed into law.

Also claiming their phones were hacked is a disgraceful lie. Nobody's conversation contents were heard. It was simply to connect who called whom and how long the calls lasted during critical time periods, such as during the assault on the Capitol and in the days leading up to it.

One woman, who'd dated Epstein for a few months, dropped him when he told her he'd seen her undressing on a video--evidently taken with a hidden camera. I'm sure there's other corroboration for that, too.

He's getting desperate. But I wouldn't put it past MTG to do as she's promised and read into the Congressional record the list of men to whom Epstein trafficked these girls and young women. In that way, the Speech and Debate Clause would protect her from any lawsuits.

Just looked it up. According to Wikipedia, Julie K. Brown began investigating Epstein in 2017 and published a series of reports in November 2018. So the timing checks out.

It literally takes my breath away. So much of the news in this Trump regime is a gut punch that leaves you gasping to regain any sense of equilibrium. And sadly, that's the point.

Besides, Trump has been "working on" these ideas since he was elected 2016. If he hasn't come up with anything in all these years, he clearly doesn't have anything. Just blow up ACA and be done with it is his plan in its entirety.
