The above words were penned by Ben Johnson in 1641. I'm bringing them back here to remind us all that Donald Trump is out of his everlovin' mind. No other way to say it.
The northern lights tonight just won’t quit. They’ve been lit up for nearly three hours.

Northern lights are out in NW Montana. Not sure how far the visibility area extends, but you gotta love the end of daylight savings so I can see them without staying up half the night. 😉

Quote pulled from this article in The Guardian. But geez, doesn't it sound just like the guy who's living in the White House?

Must be the plastic surgery that allows her to lie with complete abandon, while keeping a totally straight face.

Here she is "before," looking entirely natural and wholesome. I guess it just wasn't good enough for some.

This citation is from The Hill, not fiction. How she was cleared by the FBI and deemed suitable by the Senate for a cabinet position is beyond me.

My sign is all set to go.

Got my sign all ready to go.

If you're on the fence about going to a rally on Saturday, read this and then resolve to join in. We can do this, but it's going to take every right-thinking person to speak up and make noise. From The Atlantic, Nov 2025 edition:

New puppy? How cute!

I took my 10-month-old corgi puppy Pete and Australian kelpie Tuff on a hike last weekend. We got to see one of Montana's hidden jewels, Glacier Lake. Fun times.

I saw Stephen Miller wearing a suit just like Ben Kingsley's here. It was during the visit to DC's Union Station with JD Vance and Pete Hegseth. I always thought Stephen Miller was embarrassingly out of step with the times.

Donald Trump reminds me daily of this classic essay from c. 1980, by Richard Mitchell--aka, The Underground Grammarian. I've cut it into chunks so you can read it here.

Love pitties! Got Cash when he was 9 weeks old at the shelter, and I didn't think he'd get this big. But when I had DNA done on him, he was 1/4 an American pit, 1/4 AmStaff, 1/4 Rottweiler and the last quarter a border collie/cattle dog cross. The best dog I ever had. On his last day in 2023. RIP

I had to look it up. Here it is so you don't have to. Nice line, GC.

I joined a small crew in Hot Springs, Montana. Brought my sign and we made a few more.

I'll be there!

BTW, this book of essays was published in 1984. My tattered and well-used copy here.

Finally, a practical tattoo. If you need to measure things frequently, just mark it indelibly on a finger and voila! No need to ever try to find a ruler. 🙄

Busy bumblebees feasting on the lavender this morning. All the bushes are covered with bees.
