Hey guys, I guess it's my turn. It's hard out here in these writer streets and your girl needs a little help. I'm trying to get my patreon up to $2000 or if you want to just kick me a few bucks directly or in exchange for this month's bundle I'd really appreciate it.

After watching the movie The Fall Guy I tried to explain the TV show to Sig Other but considering the last time I watched it I was probably 7 I didn’t sell it well.

I discovered I was out of backing powder when I went to make cornbread and was upset BUT I remembered I’d gone on a flour shopping spree and had self rising flour. Random preparation happenstance and a thirst for baked good supplies in bulk is a good way to start 2025.

The algorithm just brought me Back Door Santa and I didn’t know I needed a raunchy Christmas song until now. True Christmas miracle.

I had big plans that involved me being outside and after running one errand I’m at peace that the outside life wasn’t for me today.

I ate a very underwhelming croissant and I’m trying to not let it ruin my day.

I got this done in the nick of time before my dad came home and scolded me for being on the roof. It being the roof of my own house wouldn’t matter because dads are going to dad.

I’m trying really hard to drag Sunday out. Just stretching time to its limits because I can feel Monday looming in the distance.

I made the fatal mistake of thinking I was only going into Target for a “few things”.

Serotonin strut pop is so funny to me. The Spotify wrap up really leans into the ridiculous and I appreciate that.

Buying yarn inspired advent calendars has been one of the best things I’ve done for myself. And it made me think if I was a better me I’d create a romance themed advent based on my books.

We don't need more remakes of old movies. We need more MUPPETS remakes of old movies.

My dad has decided it’s going to be a “madhouse” at the cemetery because of Black Friday and we’ll visit my mother’s gravesite tomorrow. Peak dad logic.

The oven has turned on. We may in fact be cooking with gas now. 🤞🏾

Getting ready to prep Thanksgiving dinner with an oven that has a 50/50 chance of working. If it isn’t chaotic is it really a holiday?

Me: Why is the Le Creuset bread oven so expensive?!
Also me: *proceeds to buy yarn that is twice the amount*

I’ve started snapping my fingers for emphasis while shouting tangential facts that only make sense to me.
“He was in that movie, you know, the one on the train.”

My gods, I’ve become my mother.

I’m convinced the “do audiobooks count as reading?” argument all derives from those mid-90s summer reading pizza challenges.

Folks - we’re all in our 30s and 40s now. It’s no longer a competition.

Go buy your favorite pie with your adult money and let people enjoy books however they want.

Have ordered Thanksgiving dinner even though my stove hasn’t worked properly for weeks. I like to keep the holidays exciting.
