That the United States is not only sanctioning such shocking inhumanity, but is also *paying* for it, is so despicable.

And that silence you hear is not one conservative "Christian" speaking out against it.

I was once on an a train from to Budapest. In the middle of the night, officious men with epaulets were banging on doors demanding papers. As we pulled out of the station, I heard a passenger dragged onto the platform crying. I shortsightedly said, "I'm glad we don't live in a country like this."

I don't really care what the "political consequences" are of fighting for the proposition that *everyone* is entitled to due process before they are removed from the United States and sent to a Salvadoran prison.

It's not really a principle if you only adhere to it when it's politically expedient.

Good morning.

Today is the 80th day that the U.S. President is running a backdoor bribery scheme in which any CEO or foreign oligarch can send him money secretly through his crypto coin scam in exchange for favors.

It's the biggest scandal in the history of the Presidency.

Columbia University capitulated to Trump to get $400M in science funding released.

What happened? Not only has the funding NOT been released, but all NIH funding ($700M last year) has been frozen.

Giving in to bullies just makes them take more.

They just added 5 new dates to the People’s Town Hall series because apparently MAGA Republicans would rather hide behind Fox News than face real Americans.
They’re scared of questions.
Dems are showing up with answers.

Yes, it’s about the tariffs. More importantly, Trump is violating existing law by claiming a decades-long problem (his words) a national emergency that gives him the power to enact tariffs despite the law not saying he can. He is owed NO time to violate laws. Johnson and the GOP are fully complicit.
