Now nearly 90, she continues to speak out on issues of race, history, and power, having dedicated over 50 years to dismantling racism despite personal sacrifices. I vividly recall watching clips of Jane Elliott on the Oprah Winfrey show, where she explained that her eye color experiment—separating people based on eye color—was as close as white people could come to experiencing racism and discrimination, offering a taste of their own prejudice.
