The first R-rated movie I saw was probably Starship Troopers. I remember it being on at my friend’s dad’s house and being enamored/traumatized by it & the bug killing violence.
Can’t recall first R-rated in theaters… something circa 2008/9 likely.
The first R-rated movie I saw of my own volition was The Matrix, which is a pretty mild R to begin with. The first R movie I saw in theaters was WANTED, which was very stupid but also pleasingly gory.

The reason christians are using “groomer” panic as the specific means of attacking trans people is because their institutions & leaders are, rightly, synonymous with systematic sexual abuse of children, and they want to misdirect and project their crimes onto a group they’re targeting.
what's an opinion you have that's 100% correct but makes for uncomfortable silence?
