I’m so angry that I Saw the TV Glow AND Challengers both didn’t get Oscar nominations. Like, two of the best pieces of queer art in decades, but no - we’re gonna nominate a racist transphobic movie about a Mexican trans woman written by a 72-year old French cis guy.

Anyway, fuck transphobes, buy trans books.
On that note:

Trans authors (I mean authors who are trans, NOT cis people who write about trans people), drop your book links here and I'll try to repost as many as I can throughout the day.

Cis people: Repost trans authors' book links.

Cis people who want to complain about being excluded: gtfo
Being a trans author is fucking weird right now. Hell is actively unfolding all around us but I still need to be like, "hey, everyone, wanna buy my silly little queer book? It won't make anything better, but it's kinda fun?"

So....hey, everyone, wanna buy my silly little queer book?

What a great ending to #StarTrekLowerDecks, a show that made me fall in love with my first nerdom again and got my daughter interested in it.

Perfect response to the Disney story. Corporations can try to silence our stories, but they will never ever succeed.

Make queer art.
I know stories like this are heartbreaking, but never forget that these stories are stories that people WANT to tell and stories that people WANT to hear.

It takes the force of a billion-dollar company to silence us, and it costs us nothing but a pen and paper to break that silence.

Make art.
Disney is not your friend. Disney has never been your friend. Disney will never be your friend. The Moon Girl thing was not a one-off, nor was Gravity Falls, nor was Owl House, nor was the disaster that was Strange World

Every year at & around Pride, Disney wants LGBTQ money but yearly they do this

Stephanie Shea knows how to write romance y’all! This one was just so good! Every single word, every single page of this novella was used to it maximal effect to tell a moving story of overcoming life’s struggles and rekindling love as a married couple years after vows are said.

Ran across a media website today that had the header, "Improving our media with hatred".

Yeah, you can guess what kind of media they don't like.

But beyond that, what fucking kind of ethos is this?
