peppino and noise character studies
in this essay i will explain why i am the only one to understand these characters

To the right is a lot of text: "It's one of my favorite things about these guys! The point is to show how on the surface they're opposite but in reality, they're pretty similar!! Visually, they're the most different. This is where we get most of our interactions from, on the surface. Noise is bright and colorful, while Peppino sticks to black & white. Noise is pretty scrawny compared to Pep, who's fat & got muscle underneath his gut. Noise has a girlfriend, Peppino is single. Hell, even in casual wear, they're strikingly different!" On the left of the last paragraph are two shoulder-up sketches of Noise and Prppino respectively. Underneath them are bullet points highlighting their differences. For Noise, it lists: Full head of hair, no stache, fancy casual clothes, young. For Peppino, it lists the opposite: Balding, stache, cheap & cozy casual clothes, old/middle aged. Paragraph on the right continues: "It's even implied that Noise is pretty financially stable, to contrast with Peppino's financial instability. Success vs. struggling business. Their differences are like a coin in that way." "However, there's actually quote a few standout trails both share- and it's all in their actions! And lives. Both love their careers/professions. They're passionate about it. It's tiring, sometimes anxiety inducing, but they wouldn't trade it for the world." Below are two doodles of Peppino and Noise. Peppino is tossing dough with a smile on his face, while Noise stands in front of an explosion with a determined smug grin. "Both are absurdly petty & stubborn. Neither know when to quit, and often it's because of a strong sense of pride. If you mess with them, expect something back! Something to note is how both are powerhouses, but for different reasons. Peppino is physically powerful and will break your bones. Noise is more resourceful, using bombs & trickery." Underneath are two sketches. Left has a manic Peppino cracking his knuckles, captioned (knuckles crack), and a feral Noise with sharp teeth holding a bomb, captioned (uh oh). Final paragraph on the right concludes with: "Don't mess with either of them. You will lose."

my biggest 2024 breakthrough: discovering that scarecrows aren't real. crops are just SO much easier to steal now. i used to pull up one or two turnips and run off, but i'm not scared anymore. the only challenge ahead of me in 2025 is to keep from eating so many turnips i give myself a stomach ache
