Stonemason in Ottawa, Canada. Approaching peak hoser.
Tried to stop my bamboo from marching. Can’t. Up the hill down the hill. Think it just loves Sousa.

The fresco restoration work marks the culmination of a series of interventions we have carried out on this sanctuary since 2006.
In 2008, I designed an extension to the church and we restored the adjoining house.
In 2011, we designed an access path for wheelchair users.
And now, the frescoes.

Definitely team arch, but also love the use of tensioned stone like this. And a fraction of the emissions of concrete or steel structure. Great research done by www.thestonemasonrycompany.co.uk

I’d say not at all, given how many visitors Romanesque and early Gothic cathedrals receive every year.

Sorry but I’ve only been to like 15 European cities where I breeze through the derivative Renaissance architecture to get to the good Romanesque and Gothic stuff.

But isn’t neoclassicism the brutalism of revivals?
